Robertson remembers Hearnes Center rivalry with Kansas
Kansas guard Ryan Robertson recalls the hostile reception from Missouri fans during four Hearnes Center meetings from 1995 to 1999. The 6-5 St Charles native, now playing in the Netherlands, cherished his state title at St Charles High and noted MU will replace Hearnes with a newer arena. He warned the final MU-KU matchup at Hearnes would be a zoo and expressed interest in a keepsake from the arena or coach Stewart’s chair.
