The Boulder site will house a 400000 square foot IBM facility to produce System 360 units, with about 1000 workers including engineers and clerical staff. Construction starts before July, partial operation next year, full completion by late summer or fall, on a 640 acre site bought in 1957 for 78505.

Petition Against Ratner Dismissed by Kansas Supreme Court
The Kansas Supreme Court dismissed a disbarment petition against former Gov. Payne H. Ratner and his son Payne H. Ratner. The court upheld the special commissioner Jerry Driscoll's findings after a lengthy hearing. The State Board of Law Examiners charged them with soliciting cases and stirring up litigation. the complaint was filed in March 1961.

World Day of Prayer draws 370 at Plymouth Church
About 370 persons attended Friday World Day of Prayer services at Plymouth Congregational Church, with 190 in the evening service.
