Kansas Senate approves Senate Bill 206 to use the 1969 census for state purposes until 1971, risking loss of funds for Douglas County and Lawrence. In Fort Benning, Maj. Charles C. Calhoun testified that after My Lai the order for Capt. Ernest Medina to reenter the village to assess civilian deaths was countermanded by Maj. Gen. Samuel W. Koster, as Lt. William Calley Jr. faces murder charges. The jury requested Koster and Lipscomb's presence, while Medina and Henderson face potential court-martial amid broader My Lai inquiries.
