More jurors dismissed from Terry Nichols case
Oklahoma City bombing conspirator Terry Nichols watched as one after another prospective juror for his state murder trial said they believed he was guilty. Over 20 potential jurors were disqualified in McAlester with many citing lack of impartiality. Nichols, already serving a life sentence, could face the death penalty if convicted on 161 counts of first degree murder in the April 19 1995 bombing. Jury selection could span two weeks and a six month trial. He was previously convicted on federal charges for eight slain federal officers. The state case covers remaining victims and an unborn child.

Democrats see Edwards as ideal running mate
Democrats view John Edwards as a strong fit for vice president beside John Kerry offering youth and charisma. Analysts note Edwards energizes blue collar and independent voters while Kerry keeps focus on securing the nomination though Edwards himself shows little interest in a VP bid. Some say a Kerry Edwards ticket could help mobilize Southern voters and force Republican response.
