Judge orders restraining against NYC woman Weeks
A New York City woman Desiree Weeks faces a renewed restraining order by Superior Court Judge Kenneth Mackenzie after Weeks sent rambling letters to Whitney Houston and her management firm Nippy Inc. The judge also reinstated Houston’s lawsuit from last year. Houston had dropped prior actions after Weeks’ involuntary hospitalizations and recent escape from a Bronx facility. The case follows Weeks’ claims of supernatural ties to Houston’s mother and gifts mailed since August 1999.
