Two Crime Syndicates Reported by Senate Committee
Fifty years ago on February 28 1951 the Senate committee led by Estes Kefauver cited at least two major crime syndicates operating in the United States. Also noted 1827 saw the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad become the first U.S. passenger and freight carrier chartered. In 1993 a gun battle at a Waco Texas compound began an ATF raid on Branch Davidians leaving four agents and six Davidians dead after a 51 day stand off.

Springsteen to release live CD from Madison Square Garden
