District disputes large February utility bill and reviews budget plan
Johnson said the district disputes about 392000 of a 900 percent February utility charge, with 54000 normal cost. Funds set aside in the contingency reserve until resolution, which could take over a month, may be freed up if the challenge succeeds. The district also drafts the 2021-22 budget and mil levy estimates, while considering a revised meeting calendar that would mostly hold in person monthly and a second virtual session.
