Towle Elected National Chaplain of Disabled Officers Assn
Rt. Rev. Msgr. George Towle longtime pastor at St. John’s parish and former Army chaplain was chosen as national chaplain of the Disabled Officers Assn. He was nominated by national commander Paul F. Shaughenssey and approved on the first ballot at the three day Kansas City convention. Towle later served as a prison chaplain after Army retirement.

Funeral Thursday 2 am in Eudora Methodist Church with burial at Eudora Cemetery. survivors include widow Clar a Noble two sons Robert and Clobert, mother Mrs Thomas Noble and sisters and brothers across California Arizona Ohio and Kansas. Floyd Davidson 44 of Sugar Lake near Atchison died Tuesday at Atchison hospital. Funeral Thursday 2 pm at Harcuff Buis chapel Atchison with burial Mt Vernon cemetery. Davidson born June 23 916 in Hallsville Mo moved to Kansas 33 years ago. survivors include wife two daughters parents a sister three stepbrothers and three grandchildren.
