Flood Trip of Barge May Cost the City

George Rothberger of Eudora tied up the barge and billed the city for 50 in services plus 2.50 for robes. City officials doubt 50 for tying up a barge is justified, and the bill awaits action. The barge was built for river use during the jetty project and later tied at the river bank after removal of more equipment.
