Maude Cooke Anderson, longtime Lawrence resident and widow of Dr. A J Anderson, died early today at Lawrence Memorial Hospital after a month as patient. Born near Fort Scott, she taught at Kansas University Fine Arts School from 1909 to 1913 before private music lessons. Survivors include son Dr Arthur S Anderson of Camp White Oregon and daughters Mrs Bessie Banks and Mrs Eva Dolbee.
