Police Recover Two Cars Stolen From Hallmark Lot
Two cars stolen from the Hallmark Cards parking lot were found in a field about 60 miles west of Lawrence. Tires and wheels and interior trim were taken and window glass broken. Cars owned by Alan F. Nash and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald E. Arnolds were released to Lawrence police. A field report noted juvenile runaway activity and purse pilfering as additional incidents.

Wrecks Leave Three with Minor Injuries in Douglas County
Four accidents reported Thursday by Lawrence and Douglas County officers included a three vehicle wreck at 19th and Mass where Antonia Eaton Dorothy Jeffries and a child were injured. Damages were estimated at 410 1050 and 340 to the vehicles and pole. A separate crash at K-10 and Main in Eudora involved Albert Wurtz and Steve Miller with 450 and 200 in damage.
