The Powder Creek Cowboys host the 2011 Prince of the Pistoleers three day state shooting championship for single action shooters at Hodgdon Range in Lenexa Kansas. The group formed nearly a decade ago to celebrate Old West heritage and aligns with the Single Action Shooting Society to host events and enjoy Second Amendment protections. Members dress period costumes and use authentic era firearms as part of the competitive, outdoor shooting sport.
