Final Naval Ratios Accord Reported by London and Berlin

London and Berlin announce a final agreement on naval ratios, setting Germany at 35 percent of Britain’s fleet. The plan allows limited transfers between categories but maintains overall tonnage for the two fleets, with ongoing talks and no immediate objections from Italy, France, the US, or Japan. Officials say Britain will decide actual tonnage adjustments, and German circles express hope others will not object.
