Real Detective Time Patch Looks for Authentic Portrayal
NBC sent a 21 day crew to follow a San Francisco detective for a Show of the Week but the result lacked realism. The piece showed him grilling suspects and witnesses while offering explanations and moralizing but leaving many leads unresolved. TV highlights include Mystery Theatre moving into NBC on Wednesday and program notes from other channels and films.
