Eight Men Die In Army Plane Crash Near Delavan
An Army bomber crashed in a thunderstorm on a farm north of Delavan Illinois killing eight aboard. The AB 18, carrying three officers and five enlisted men from Chanute Field to Lowry Field, left shortly before the accident.
