Lance Hill Runs for Boys State Governor at Lewis Hall
Lance Hill, 16, son of Mr and Mrs Herbert Hill Jr, filed for the Boys State governor race and shook hands with participants. He narrowly lost the Federalist nomination to Ty Cobb but stayed active, helping Cobb's campaign and later working as a party worker. Both boys later were appointed Supreme Court justices by Governor Ross.
