Washington June 9 The Senate Foreign Relations Committee opened an inquiry into how copies of the peace treaty reached private hands in New York. Senator Lodge and Senator Borah led charges. J P Morgan H H Davison Thomas F Lamont Jacob Schiff and Frank Vanderlip were subpoenaed. President Wilson urged thorough prosecution. The full treaty text, sent by Frazier Hunt of the Chicago Tribune, is being distributed to U S newspapers. it runs about 78000 words in 415 pages.

Ora Turner serving life for murder in Ries county and B E Pratt convicted of highway robbery in Shawnee county escaped Saturday night by climbing over the wall with rope assistance.
