Grain cooperative marks 100th year in Cairo area
The Cairo Co operative Equity Exchange began in 1915 after farmers formed to market wheat. Now with locations in Kingman Pratt and Reno counties it buys into Skyland Grain to boost purchasing power and capital while keeping its name and facilities. President John Steffen says the aim is better efficiency and quicker return to field work.
