Two former Douglas county couples are honored with a land gift valued at 20 000 to the Kansas University 18 6 million Program for Progress. Chancellor Wescoe announced in the State of the University. Elizabeth Kimpton of Kansas City MO donated in memory of her parents Jacob R Ul rich and Eva Kennedy Ul rich. Dr Lawrence A Kimpton of Chicago memorializes his parents Carl E Kimpton and Linn Kennedy Kimpton. Carl Kimpton founded Kimpton Realty and Investment Co and left assets to KU Endowment. The 80 acre Johnson county tract is used for gas storage and farming.
