Percolator hosts artist reception for The Matter of Life
The Percolator at 913 Rhode Island St hosts an artist reception from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday marking the opening of The Matter of Life a ceramics show by Michelle Rogne. Rogne, a former field biologist, draws on work with threatened species across the U S Mexico Central America and Micronesia. The exhibit runs through July and Rogne will partner with Mon arch Watch for a June 13 event. her pieces often feature coral reefs monarch butterflies and pangolins to spark discussion on conservation.
