Third meningitis case confirmed in Alliance Ohio
A meningitis outbreak at West Branch High School caused two student deaths and left another critically ill as Alliance Community Hospital ran out of antibiotics. A helicopter delivered fresh supplies by midday while officials said 10,000 have been treated and up to 15,000 more may need treatment. An 18-year-old from Marlington High School was diagnosed with an unidentified strain.
