Sister Trio Shares Birthday Toast at 90 Celebration
Ann Landers Abi gail Van Buren and their sister Helen Brodkey gathered at a nursing home in Omaha for Helen's 90th birthday. The Friedmans from Sioux City inspired the twins whom they teased about becoming ladies. The sisters, born in Iowa, will turn 83 on the Fourth of July. Neither plans to retire. Actor Robert Redford received the Freedom In Film award from the Freedom Forum First Amendment Center and the Nashville Independent Film Festival for his career and social efforts.
