Lawrence home invasion suspect arraigned in Douglas County
One of the men tied to a March 29 Lawrence home invasion appeared in Douglas County District Court Tuesday. Rashid McClelland, 19, pleaded not guilty to aggravated battery, aggravated burglary, attempted aggravated robbery, and aggravated assault. A trial was set for Oct. 1. The break in occurred in the 1700 block of East 17th. Four people were inside. only a 16 year old girl was awake. Two masked men fled when the mother returned home. No other arrests have been made.
