Bedford sculptor completes D-Day memorial work
Lawrence artist Jim Brothers and a sculpture brigade traveled 1,100 miles to dedicate a Bedford monument marking the 57th anniversary of D-Day. The site features 88 acres with a 44 foot arch, a granite Overlord inscription, and works by Brothers including Scaling the Wall. Veterans and families react with emotion as the bronze figures honor those who fought at Normandy.
