Zip Line Tour Brings Alaska Rainforest to Tourists

In Ketchikan Alaska Alaska Canopy Adventures opened a three hour treetop zip tour over a mile of cable and seven zip lines. Guides outfit riders with helmets raingear and harnesses as they glide above the Tongass National Forest seeking wildlife like eagles bears and salmon runs. The venture aims to diversify post mill economy with cruise ship visitors and locals, pricing at 149 dollars per tour.
