Toddlers play with gun ends in deadly shooting
An affidavit states two toddlers found a handgun and played with it at a Lawrence home. Autumn Grace Smith, 1, was killed about 10:30 a.m. on September 22, 2017. Autumn’s father Chance M. Smith, 32, faces charges of involuntary manslaughter and two counts of aggravated endangerment for allegedly exposing the children to danger.
