Day care owner testifies in baby death case
In Douglas County Court Gina Brunton owner of Sun shine Kids Group Daycare Home testified she did not harm 9 month old Oliver Ortiz who died at the Eudora day care on September 29 2016. Prosecutors say Brunton faces first degree murder charges with her full time employee Carrody Buchhorn named as the suspect. Oliver’s death was ruled blunt force trauma to the head and torso.
