Program To Carry On Another Year In War Training
The Engineering Science and Management War Training program will continue for another year after a renewed authorization from the U S Office of Education. Guy V Keeler of the University of Kansas notes 214 colleges run classes in war industry supervision and executive work with about 800 700 off campus teachers. In Kansas and western Missouri the total area enrollment last year was around 8000, with nearly 50000 served since 1941. The program is free to students, funded through the state treasury on approval and budget, and has broadened adult education as it supports training across university departments and allied military services.
