Betsy McCall dolls and cedar chests spark antique lore
Readers recall Betsy McCall dolls from 1950s magazines and the Ideal Toy Co. designs a 14 inch doll in 1952. A 24 inch statue marked Art Union London prompts notes on parian ware and London society prizes. Caswell Runyan cedar chests built in Huntington Indiana influenced aging chests. Moon Mullins curios and licensed toys expand the vintage landscape.
