Lawrence Traffic Safety Commission lacked a quorum with only four members present, delaying action on removing stop signs at Kasold Drive and Eighth Street after the 1981 fatality. Despite no vote, about six residents voiced concerns while the resignation of three members took effect. The panel deferred all other business to August 3.
