Two Virginia schools dispute Miss Virginia Ballengee claims
Roanoke Times reports inconsistencies in Andrea Ballengee’s résumé. Virginia Tech records deny Phi Beta Kappa membership and magna cum laude honors, listing cum laude with a 3.4-plus GPA. Table High Yorktown contradicts highest honors and Most Outstanding Female Athlete. Principal notes advanced studies diploma with 3.0 GPA and Most Outstanding Cheerleader instead. Pageant officials defend her character and past top-ten finishes.

Clinton had previously denounced donor cliques in his 1992 campaign book.
