State judge orders uniform property valuations in Kansas
Shawnee County District Judge Terry Bullock ordered the Department of Revenue to submit a plan by February 28 1993 to uniform property valuations statewide as required by the state Constitution. The ruling followed a lawsuit filed by Attorney General Bob Stephan alleging unequal appraisals across counties.
