NEW YORK AP Former Teamster chief Dave Beck failed to appear for a plea on charges of taking 200000 from two truck firm executives while he led the union. A federal judge demanded an arrest warrant and Beck’s Seattle lawyer was said to be delaying. The two executives Roy Fruehauf and Burge Seymour face pleas and possible fines if convicted. Beck remains free on bail while appealing two prior convictions.
