Getaway Cab Found In N J After Quadruple Murders
A red and black taxicab used as the getaway car in the four killings at Dr Francis Clarke's white mansion in New Jersey was found abandoned near the Newark line in Elizabeth. Police sought a 35 year old man matching a description as investigations looked into robbery, sex assault, or revenge motives. The victims included Dr Clarke's wife Edith 60s, maid Cora Thaddies 29, housekeeper Dorothy Moore, and a Newark cab driver Morris Michael 88.
