Phonographs and Records Pathfinders Drove Through Mand

Phonographs and Records Pathfinders from Kansas City crossed to Denver in a mud splattered Moon car last night. Guy Mery and L A Phillips traveled at 10 clock from Kansas City, stopping home en route to Topeka, aiming to reach Denver and return in two or three weeks. The trip, requested by the Kansas City Automobile club, demonstrates Kansas feasibility for the Glidden tour next July. The Glidden route may run Chicago to Omaha to Denver, return via Kansas City and St Louis. Unfavorable Kansas road reports could drop the Denver end, but planners expect to outline a definite route and promote good roads. Morgan’s route follows Union Pacific to Oakley and Colby, then Rock Island to Liman Junction, then Union Pacific to Denver, the “middle route.” The return would follow the “southern route” parallel to Santa Fe tracks.
