In the past seven days U N Fifth Air Force reports ten Allied planes downed by Communist jets and ground fire over North Korea. Sabre jets claimed a Mig 15 and damaged another in a duel as 18 Sabres faced a 90 plane formation. Snow and clouds hindered strikes while U N pilots carried out 160 sorties. Two Sabres were lost in Jan 12 18 aerial battles and eight Allied planes were shot down by Red ground fire. Reds suffered three destroyed and seven damaged in air battles. Temperatures dropped to minus three as two Allied raiding parties took Western Front objectives before withdrawing.

Landlord in Critical Condition After Killing Tenant then Shoots Self

Unconscious Natchez Woman in Critical Condition After Car Crash
Mrs John Pike 408 W Gih St Natchez Miss remains unconscious and in critical condition at General Hospital after a car crash east of Natchez during a family vacation.
