Olisio Faces Multiple Liquor Charges After Farm Raid
County Attorney R. B. Stevens filed charges against Joe Olisio for possession of liquor possession of a still possession of mash and manufacture of liquor. Olisio, 45, was arrested Tuesday afternoon at his 20 acre farm home in northwest Douglas county and was to be arraigned today before Justice J. H. Mitchell in the Douglas county jail. Federal agents from Topeka working with Douglas county authorities aided in the raid near the Shasenee county line two miles east of it.

Kansas City January 19. Lee H. Nidiffer, jailed after a Vinita Oklahoma arrest, told police that a pack of playing cards deciding the robbery led him into the attack on Public Service Company workers Michael Brennan and Vincent Maddux. Nidiffer said he did not want to participate but cut wards to decide, and he left with Tony Bivens who is also arrested.
