City extends closure of Holcom Park Recreation Center
Lawrence officials extend the temporary closure of Holcom Park Recreation Center at 2700 W 27th St to finish refinishing the gymnasium floor. The center will reopen the weight cardio game rooms and reception area at 7 am Friday with the gymnasium reopening Sunday. All programs have been relocated to other facilities and participants have been notified of relocations. Lawrence Parks and Recreation sites will list remaining facility hours.
