KU faces scrutiny over 21 million consulting fees
A committee of KU faculty staff and students criticizes more than 21 million dollars in consulting fees over five years, including over 9 million paid to Huron Consulting Services to cut costs. KU leadership counters that Huron delivered 51 million in savings and benefits, citing IT and purchasing cost reductions and 11 million in new revenue from higher freshman enrollment.
