Wind power divides Kansas along a red blue line not by party
Researchers at the University of Kansas built the Kansas Energy Transition Atlas to map 105 counties wind regulations and set back rules, showing that county actions split across the state and don’t neatly follow partisan lines. The atlas will expand to solar rules and then to other states, aiding policymakers and residents in understanding local hurdles to renewables.
