Markets mixed as grains fall and cattle rise on Friday
Chicago Board of Trade grain and soybean futures slipped with wheat at 3.30 3/4 a bushel and soybeans at 6.11 a bushel, while beef and pork futures showed mixed moves on the CME. Live cattle edged lower, feeder cattle rose, lean hogs eased, and pork bellies gained as local elevator prices listed regional commodity quotes from Ottawa, Edgerton, Overbrook, Midland, Lawrence and Pauline.
