City Uses Industrial Revenue Bonds in Past Year
The Lawrence City Commission in 1966 began using industrial revenue bonds to attract new plants such as Milk Producers Marketing Co. and Curtis 1000 Inc. The city imposes safeguards while considering continued bond use amid potential federal reforms.
