Funeral Services Held for Mrs Margaret Steuart Curry
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in Winchester for Mrs. Margaret Steuart Curry who died Friday in Atlanta at age 88. Burial followed in the family plot at Winchester. She was the mother of the late artist John Steuart Curry famed for murals in the Kansas Statehouse. She traveled to the British Isles on her 1895 honeymoon and influenced her son’s artistic career.
