Giant airlift planned to fly out POWs home

KU students Joe Allen Compton and Wanda June Denney were injured during the Christmas vacation, causing both to miss the first semester final exams. Compton, from Larned, sustained facial fractures and other injuries and is in fair condition in a hospital in Larned.
