Three held on aggravated battery after Junction City stabbing
Junction City police say three people are being held without bond after a Fort Riley soldier was stabbed twice in the abdomen at a Casey's General Store. Private Michael L. Osborne Jr. is in fair condition at Stormont Vail Regional Health Center after being flown from Junction City. Police say they arrested Patt Schofield on aggravated battery and Christopher J. Born January 13 1921 in Lawrence he served in World War II and worked for Jefferson County Road and Bridge Department. Survived by six sons four daughters and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Memorials to McLouth Church or Jefferson County Hospice.
