Three Killed as Via Rail Train Derails Near Burlington Ontario
A Via Rail passenger train derailed west of Toronto injuring dozens and killing three engineers aboard the locomotive. The train with 75 aboard was en route Niagara Falls to Toronto when it left the tracks near Aldershot station. Passengers suffered varied injuries. 42 were treated at the scene or hospitalized, while 30 continued to Toronto by bus.
