Allowance Boost To Solons Passes In Kansas House
TOPEKA AP A bill increasing a Kansas legislator expense allowance by more than 3 000 for a two year term passed the House 79 to 41 and moves to the Senate. The measure would raise the monthly allowance from 15 to 25 dollars during sessions and from 50 to 100 dollars for most of the year plus weekly mileage for round trips between home and Topeka. The added funds total over 381 250 for the two year period not counting mileage.

Three Die As Train Jumps Track Near Pennsboro
