Burned Man in Fair Condition at Memorial Hospital
Herman Vogel of Leavenworth was severely burned in a flash fire Saturday at Sunflower Ordnance Works and was reported in fair condition at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Vogel, 35, suffered second and third degree burns over a large area while operating a mixer. Edward D. Tesch of Eudora also received burns but did not require hospitalization.
