FBI arrests pair in anthrax threat case in Las Vegas area
Two men, Larry Harris and William Leavitt, were charged with conspiracy to possess and possession of anthrax after attempting to arrange a lab test of the substance in Henderson Nevada. An informant said one claimed military grade anthrax in the trunk of a beige Mercedes, with eight to ten bags marked biological. The FBI reassured residents there was no danger or contamination as tests proceed.
