Readers at the Lawrence Public Library weighed in on gifts and card giving routines in a survey featured on page 6A. Participants shared varied habits from frequent to rare and highlighted personal touches in celebrations.
Kansas University has held the KU trademark since 1996 and unveiled a 2005 logo in the Trojan typeface used on the football helmets. The team wore red throwback helmets with a Jayhawk in 2014, and athletic official Jim Marchiong says such designs honor history and are within KU's rights, with no 2015 helmet plans for old KU or Jayhawk styles.
